Demeter
This agricultural goddess was honored in ancient Greece as one of the 12 Olympians. She is the second child of the Titans, Rhea and Cronus. Demeter is the mother of Persephone; when her daughter is abducted by Hades, she neglects her duties as a goddess and goes into the underworld to find her daughter. This plunges the world into a deadly famine. As a compromise, the gods agree that Persephone will spend half the year with Demeter and the other half of the year in the underworld with Hades which explains the cycle of the seasons as Demeter doesn't allow plant life to flourish while her daughter is gone. This light and fresh green tea blend is the perfect mix for a goddess tied to the land and the seasons.
