How Much Tea Should I Buy?
How much is 50g of tea, anyway? If you're used to buying tea bags or tea by the ounce, grams might not be intuitive. The chart above outlines approximate serving sizes for each option.
If you follow the recommendation of 1 teaspoon (or 5 grams) for every 8oz of water, you will get 4 servings out of the 20g bag, 10 servings out of the 50g bag, and 20 servings out of the 100g bag. If you always use the same 16oz mug or 2 cup teapot, then you can cut those servings sizes in half according to the brewing vessel you usually use.
