Izanami

Also known as Izanami-no-Mikoto, this Japanese Shinto goddess is associated with both creation and death. She is the sister and wife of Izanagi, with whom she brought the world into being, and she is the mother of Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Susanoo and Kagutsuchi. We selected this green tea blend because sencha is a classic and celebrated Japanese green tea. This sencha is elevated with pomegranate and blueberry, selected for their jewel-toned color to mimic the heavenly spear, Amenonuhoko, that she wielded with Izanagi which was decorated with gems.
