Surya
Surya is considered the sun god in Hinduism, as well as the chief deity among the Navagrahas, the nine classical planets of Hindu antiquity. He is known by many names including Aditya, Bhanu, and more. Surya is classically depicted riding in a chariot being pulled by seven horses with the sun shining behind him. Many Hindus engage in Surya Arghya or "offering water to the sun" which is a sunrise ritual meant to bring balance and health to your life.
