Allfather and the Wanderer, a god whose name means "lord of frenzy," Odin is the highest and eldest of the Aesir from Norse mythology and is honored as a god of poetry, wisdom, death, war, and magic. It is believed he sacrificed his eye in Mimir's well and hung himself from Yggdrasil, the tree of life, for nine days and nights to gain knowledge of other worlds and understanding of the runes. This smoky black tea blend pays homage to Odin's wanderings through the nine realms in pursuit of knowledge and great fire that warms the hall of Valhalla where warriors who died in battle are honored in the afterlife under Odin's leadership.
