Ngai
This Kenyan deity, also called Múrungu or Enkai, is the Supreme God in the spirituality of the Kikuyu. Ngai is considered the creator of the universe and all in it. He is often referred to as "Mwene Nyaga" which is translated as "Owner of the Dazzling Light." We chose this CTC (crush tear curl) black tea from the Kenyan estate of Tinderet, which means "place of lightning" because the location and meaning of the name fit this African deity perfectly.
