Ikenga is a horned Alusi, which is a kind of spirit worshiped and served in the Igbo religion in southeastern Nigeria. Ikenga's name means "place of strength," and is often considered a spirit of time, success, and industry. It is a two-faced god, with one face looking at the old year while one face looks at the new year. Many men and some women keep an Ikenga figure on their altar to facilitate growth and success in their endeavors.
