Dionysus
Dionysus is the ancient Greek god of wine, pleasure, and wild frenzy. Depictions of him vary greatly from an older, bearded god to an effeminate, long-haired youth. He often carries a staff wound with ivy or grape vines and dripping with honey, that is both a beneficent wand and a weapon. Western theater finds its roots in performances put on by people in the cult of Dionysus for various festivals in his name. We chose this black and white tea blend imbued with wine and grape flavor in honor of this ecstasy-driven deity.
